Kimberlee Thomas, 2025

Kimberlee “Kim” joined the Siletz Tribal Arts & Heritage Society Board of Directors in 2025.

Kim is a proud member of the Siletz Tribe, she was raised in the Salem area office community, and moved back to Siletz in 2014. Kim comes from the Butler and Logan families and has been deeply connected to her culture since she was a child, attending powwows and participating in tribal traditions.

Kim is a mother of four enrolled tribal children, and her family lives in tribal housing. Living in tribal housing has strengthened her commitment to supporting tribal families. She is actively involved in the Siletz Tribal Head Start program, helping foster early education and cultural connections for our young children.

Professionally, Kim works in Indian Child Welfare advocating for the well-being and rights of tribal youth, and is currently pursuing a degree in mental health and psychology to better serve her community.

Kim states, her lifelong involvement in cultural practices has inspired her dedication to STAHS’s mission of supporting and promoting the practice, conservation, and restoration of Siletz tribal cultures. She is honored to help advance the vision for “A Place for the People” and preserve language and traditions for future generations.
