
Tami is an accomplished business leader and regulatory specialist with over two decades of cross-functional experience spanning aerospace compliance, business consulting, law, construction, and social services who strives to provide visionary and inclusive leadership.
An enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, Tami brings a deep commitment to Native community advancement, equity, and strategic growth.
She currently in certification and compliance for a large aircraft manufacturer, where she has worked since 2006. In this role, she provides critical compliance guidance on U.S. and international aviation regulations, shaping policy interpretation and driving process improvements across several engineering domains. Her expertise ensures consistent alignment with FAA regulations and contributes to enterprise-wide airworthiness and certification integrity.
In addition to her aerospace career, Tami has worked as a business consultant, advising start-ups and small businesses on operations, legal compliance, HR, procurement, and grant development. Her entrepreneurial spirit was also reflected in her prior roles as co-founder of a construction company as well as management in corporate and political environments.
Tami holds an MBA with Graduate Honors from Regis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University, where she was a Dean’s List scholar. She is currently pursuing further studies in Visual Communications at Shoreline Community College.
Beyond her professional life, Tami is deeply engaged in volunteerism and advocacy. Committed to progress, she has served on the Education Committee, the Enrollment Committee, and the Siletz Tribal Athletic Commission within the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Her dedication to youth development is evident in her service as a CASA guardian ad litem, a volunteer coach, and team manager for various youth athletic organizations, as well as her efforts to inspire Native students through career outreach and public speaking.
Tami is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Boeing Native American Network (BNAN), American Indians in Science and Engineering Society (AISES), and Boeing Women in Leadership.
Her personal interests include spending quality time with her husband and two sons, cooking, and traveling the world.
