
Stephanie is a dedicated and accomplished professional serving as a board member of Siletz Tribal Arts and Heritage Society. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Oregon University, earned magna cum laude, she brings a strong foundation in financial oversight and strategic planning to the organization. Further enhancing her expertise, Stephanie holds a Certificate in Tribal Financial Management from Arizona State University, reflecting her commitment to culturally informed fiscal leadership.
She has been an active contributor to numerous committees for the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, including the Budget Committee, Pow Wow Committee, Education Committee, Investment Committee, Audit Committee, and Election Board, where her insights have strengthened organizational governance and community engagement. With over twenty years of experience in the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians Finance and Accounting Department, Stephanie has honed her skills in tribal financial operations. She currently serves Benton County as a Senior Accountant, bringing her extensive expertise to public sector.
As the previous Society Development Director, Stephanie played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Ghii Dee-Ne Dvn (A Place for the People), Cultural Education Center and Museum conversation, sparking renewed dialogue and engagement with the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Her efforts ignited a resurgence of cultural momentum, inspiring the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians to restart their museum, a long-dormant project due to the aftermath of the pandemic. During her nine-month tenure as Society Development Director, Stephanie raised over $300,000, demonstrating her exceptional ability to mobilize resources and support for cultural preservation.
Passionate about preserving and promoting cultural heritage, Stephanie combines her financial experience with a deep respect for community values to advance the society’s mission. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, spending quality moments with her family, and is an avid follower of Oregon State Beavers baseball.
