Ghii De-Ne Dvn

Construction Steering Committee

We are excited to announce we had our first construction steering committee meeting between STAHS and CTSI!

The Siletz Tribal Council approved the road contract at the August 18th Regular Tribal Council meeting of the Ghii Dee-Ne Dvn, A Place for the People, museum and cultural center! The steering committee discussed the scope of the project, the timeline, and the budget. We also identified some of the key risks and challenges. We’re excited to be working with such a talented and dedicated group of people that will help the STAHS mission of creating a museum that will support and promote the culture of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.

We’ll be keeping everyone updated on our progress, so stay tuned!
