Oregon Governor Kate Brown and friend to the Siletz Tribe attended the pow wow on Friday night. STAHS Board Chairman Gloria Ingle and Siletz Tribal Vice Chairman Alfred “Bud” Lane III explain the logo on the back of the STAHS sweatshirt the board gifted to the GovernorDeeni Rilatos, Siletz Tribal Member, was so happy to meet Oregon Governor Kate Brown. This is Cynthia’s way to acknowledge Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. #MMIW
Grace Elting Castle (STAHS Board Director) was at the booth on Saturday to visit with people and to sell & sign her book “A Time To Wail.” Grace donated $5.00 from every book sale to the Capital Fund. Thank you Grace!
