Siletz Tribal Arts & Heritage Society is thrilled and deeply honored to share that we have been selected as a recipient of an education & culture grant from the Charlotte Martin Foundation.
The timing of this news is significant because STAHS has been selected during the 2023 canoe journey, which brings together 100 canoes from different Tribes to celebrate a tapestry of Tribal songs, foods, dance, and gifts to share between cultures.
This grant will bring together STAHS and Siletz Valley School (SVS) by incorporating a canoe building class to SVS. Thank you again to the Charlotte Martin Foundation for this incredible honor.
